Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos

So small and SO addictive.

Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos
From Recipezaar

Ingredients:
10 fresh Jalapeno Peppers
14-16 oz. Cream Cheese
1 C. shredded Cheddar Cheese
16 oz. Bacon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Using gloves (trust me, it's a good idea), cut stems off of peppers and cut them all in half longways.  Remove seeds from peppers.  Fill each pepper with cream cheese and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top - press into the cream cheese to make it stay in place.  Wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around each pepper half.

Place on baking sheet with the bacon pinned underneath and bake for 10 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked.  Remove and serve when cooled.

  2. I made these tonight as appetizers and we ate them all, each and every one! We paired them with the pineapple kabobs and they were deeeelicious!

  3. I forgot to mention that I used prosciutto instead of bacon, which I think gave the poppers a more balanced flavor. The bacon I had on hand was very thick and I was worried that it would overwhelm the other flavors. The prosciutto was perfect.
