Apple Crisp


Yep, still got a lot of apples on my hands.

Apple Crisp
Adapted from Pioneer Woman

Ingredients:
1 1/4 C. Apples, cored and chopped
1/3 C. Sugar
1/2 t. Vanilla Extract
1/2 C. Flour
1/8 C. Sugar
1/8 C. Brown Sugar
1/6 C. Oats
1/8 C. Pecans, Chopped
Dash Of Salt
3/8th of a stick of Butter, cut into small pieces
Vanilla Ice Cream, for serving

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a medium bowl, combine apples, 2/3 cups sugar, and vanilla.  Stir and set aside.

In food processor, combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, brown sugar, oats, pecans, dash of salt, and butter pieces.  Pulse in food processor until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add apple mixture to a small pie pan.  Sprinkle topping mixture all over the top.  Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until topping is golden brown. Allow to sit for ten minutes before serving.  Scoop out with a spoon and top with vanilla ice cream.
